Test Analyst

Role: Test Analyst

Reporting To: Test Manager & CRM Product Manager

Location: Wilmslow/Remote – Flexible Working

The Opportunity

An opportunity to join a forward-thinking PE backed commercial group of companies with a multi-year roadmap and portfolio of projects to deliver across a broad range of Salesforce clouds and products.

Working closely with the Test Manager, Business Analysts and Developers, you will create both automated and manual test scripts to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality projects and change.

The Role

As the Test Analyst you will be responsible for:

Test Execution (within sprints):

o Preparation and execution of both Automated and Manual test scripts

o Exploratory and regression testing of development work

o Identifying defect trends and problem area within the system

Strategy :

o Identify test conditions and develop automated test cases and test

o Identify test conditions and develop manual test cases and test

o Analyse functional and non-functional requirements for each project

o Maintain the regression pack

Analysis :

o Identifying defect trends and problem area within the system

o Early involvement in story refinement – Helping to define testable user stories

Communication:

o Contributing to agile ceremonies

o Regular and consistent feedback to the CRM Product Manager to ensure work is progressing to schedule and the Test Manager for all test processes

o Raise defects where necessary and ensure test evidence is supplied to the development team

o Ability to communicate with both the development team and business users

The Person

We are looking for someone who can roll their sleeves up and ‘dig in’ with the rest of the team. Have a keen eye for detail and be able to work as a team and individually. Have the ability and drive to prioritise their work in a fast-paced delivering team. In addition, the successful candidate should have experience of working in:

• Previous or existing Salesforce knowledge is ideal

• Jira/Confluence/TestRail

• Automation suites – Preferably Playwright

• Scrum Software Development Lifecycle
