Business Development Representative (Remote – UK Based)

Location: Remote (with occasional UK/EU travel)

Salary: £35,000–£40,000 base + OTE £50,000–£55,000

Overview:

An exciting opportunity for a motivated and target-driven Business Development Representative (BDR) with a strong background in B2B sales across services and software.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a proven track record of success in generating qualified leads and nurturing prospects through structured outreach and campaign-driven initiatives.

This remote role requires flexibility for occasional UK and EU travel and the ability to work independently while meeting monthly, quarterly, and annual KPIs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively generate and qualify leads through targeted outreach and marketing campaigns
  • Manage the full lead development process from initial contact to opportunity qualification
  • Drive pipeline growth across high-value services solutions (AOV £80k–£500k)
  • Engage both existing Salesforce users and greenfield prospects
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and manage client relationships within Salesforce
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to support integrated campaigns
  • Monitor and report on performance metrics to improve conversion rates

Required Experience:

  • Demonstrated success in B2B business development, ideally across both services and software
  • Strong experience in the UK & Ireland market; familiarity with the Nordics and wider EU is a plus
  • Understanding of qualification processes and sales funnel management
  • Experience working with Salesforce CRM and related reporting tools
  • Familiarity with the Salesforce ecosystem and SaaS models is advantageous
  • Industry knowledge in Manufacturing, High Tech, Health & Life Sciences, and Finance is valuable
