Business Development Manager

Business Development Manager

£45k base + £70k–£80k OTE | London (hybrid) | High-growth hospitality tech.

This is an opportunity to join one of the most exciting emerging businesses in hospitality tech ...a company helping restaurants improve staff earnings, engagement, and retention through a product that is already creating real impact across the industry.

The business is now entering a major growth phase:

📈 Record-breaking month-on-month growth

🎙️ New podcast launch driving strong industry visibility and inbound

💰 Recent investment secured to accelerate scaling plans

As growth continues, the business is now looking to hire a highly commercial, relationship-led Business Development Manager to help drive new venue acquisition across the hospitality sector. This is a true 360 sales role where you’ll own the full sales cycle from outreach through to close.

🚀 The Role

This is a high-activity, high-impact new business role focused on signing hospitality venues and groups onto a platform that genuinely improves staff performance, engagement, and retention.

You’ll be selling a solution that operators actually want to hear about — one that directly supports employee wellbeing, retention, and operational performance within hospitality businesses.

Managing the full sales cycle from prospecting through to close

Booking and attending in-person meetings with hospitality operators and decision makers

Demonstrating the commercial and operational impact the platform can have on venues

Building relationships with restaurant groups, operators, and hospitality leaders

Creating a strong pipeline through a blend of phone outreach, networking, referrals, and face-to-face meetings

You should be comfortable with:

High outbound activity

Cold calling and proactive outreach

Attending meetings and venue visits

Managing your own pipeline and diary

Closing multiple deals per month

Operating in a fast-paced scale-up environment

This is not an “account management” role sitting behind a desk.

The business wants someone commercially hungry, proactive, and highly visible externally.

🎯 What experienc they’re looking for:

New business sales

360 sales environments

Hospitality tech, SaaS, fintech, payments, workforce management, HR tech, or adjacent industries

High-activity outbound sales roles

Relationship-led B2B sales

You’ll likely be someone who:

Can demonstrate consistently closing multiple deals per month

Has experience managing both phone outreach and face-to-face meetings

Enjoys being out meeting customers and building relationships

Understands how to sell value rather than features

Thrives in target-driven, fast-moving environments

Is commercially driven, energetic, and highly personable

Can build momentum and pipeline independently

💡 What “good” looks like

You consistently hit or exceed new business targets

You’ve previously signed 12+ venues per month in a high-volume environment

You’re confident presenting solutions directly to hospitality operators

You know how to create urgency and momentum in sales cycles

You’re resilient, proactive, and comfortable operating autonomously

You enjoy being highly visible within your market and industry
