Business Development Manager – Automotive Payments (North UK – Fully Remote)

Supporting more than 5,000 automotive retailers—including major brands such as MINI, BMW, Mercedes, and Jaguar—they are expanding their UK commercial team and seeking a driven, capable, and proven Account Manager / BDM to lead growth across the North.

The Role

This is a hybrid hunter–farmer role focused on territory growth. You'll spend around two days per week visiting dealerships, with the remainder fully remote.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strengthen and grow relationships across an established portfolio of automotive retailers
  • Win new dealership partners and expand regional market reach
  • Review account performance to drive higher usage and commercial results
  • Deliver clear, confident onboarding and training to ensure fast adoption
  • Present the platform's value to senior dealership teams in a compelling, consultative way
  • Build your own pipeline, convert opportunities, and manage accounts end-to-end
  • Accelerate uptake of the company's premium product by spotting opportunities and demonstrating its performance benefits
  • Embed the premium product within dealership operations to enhance customer experience and boost profitability

About You

  • Based in the North of England (role is otherwise fully remote)
  • Experience in or selling into the automotive sector
  • Proven success selling complex technology or payment solutions
  • Ambitious, commercially sharp, and motivated by growth
  • Confident relationship-builder able to influence senior stakeholders
  • Self-starter with strong ownership and a proactive mindset
  • Full UK driving licence is a must
