Business Development Manager
Business Development Manager
£45k–£55k base + £80k OTE
Fully remote (UK-based, with London meet-ups)
This is a chance to join a fast-growing global SaaS business transforming how hospitality operators run and scale their businesses.
The UK team is small, BUT high-performing, and already seeing strong success. This hire is a key piece of the growth plan, with a clear pathway into leadership.
The Product
An all-in-one hospitality platform that helps operators run smarter, more profitable businesses.
This isn’t a one-size-fits-all product — it’s a true solution sale, tailored to each operator depending on their challenges.
Examples of where it adds value:
- Multi-site restaurant groups struggling with fragmented systems
- → Replace multiple tools with one platform covering POS, operations, and reporting
- Operators losing revenue through inefficiency
- → Real-time analytics to track performance, optimise menus, and improve margins
- Venues lacking visibility across sites
- → Centralised dashboards for full operational control
- Teams under pressure from staffing challenges
- → Automation and streamlined workflows to reduce operational strain
- Growing brands scaling too quickly
- → Infrastructure that supports expansion without operational chaos
This is about diagnosing problems properly and building a solution around them — not pitching a fixed product.
The Role
This is a 360 Business Development role with a strong focus on new business.
- Own the full sales cycle from prospecting → close
- Open doors through outbound (calls, LinkedIn, networking)
- Lead high-quality discovery and position tailored solutions
- Sell into multi-site hospitality groups (restaurants, bars, hotels)
- Work towards quarterly targets (21 licences per quarter)
- Partner with an SDR (supportive, but you’ll still be expected to generate pipeline)
Progression Opportunity
This role is built with progression in mind.
- Join as an individual contributor
- Learn the product and refine the sales motion
- Help shape and improve the sales process
- Step into a Player-Coach / Team Lead role
- Build and oversee a team (likely 2 SDRs + 2 AEs)
Perfect for someone who wants leadership responsibility without stepping away from selling.
What They’re Looking For
- 3+ years in a revenue-generating sales role (SaaS or similar)
- Strong track record in new business / net new logo acquisition
- Proven ability in solution selling — this is non-negotiable
- You know how to ask the right questions
- You can uncover real commercial problems
- You build value-led, tailored solutions (not generic pitches)
- Comfortable engaging multiple stakeholders
- Self-starter mindset — able to operate in a fully remote environment
Exposure to coaching, mentoring, or supporting junior team members is a big plus, especially given the progression into a player-coach role.
Hospitality experience is beneficial, but not essential if you’ve sold complex SaaS solutions.
Why This Role
- High-growth business with strong momentum in the UK
- Clear pathway into leadership
- Fully remote with flexibility
- Complex, consultative sale
- Real ownership and ability to shape how things are done
