Up to £56,000 DOE

Looking for a Monday-Friday days role where you can put your engineering knowledge to good use?

We're looking for an Engineering Planner to join a busy FMCG manufacturing site, taking ownership of maintenance planning, PPM scheduling and engineering compliance.

This is a great opportunity for a time-served engineer who enjoys the planning, organisation and problem-solving side of engineering, with the chance to improve maintenance performance and make a real difference to site reliability.

What's in it for you?

  • Up to £56,000 DOE - competitive salary for the right experience
  • Monday-Friday days - enjoy a more structured working week
  • No shift rotation - greater consistency between work and home life
  • A key role within engineering - take ownership of maintenance planning and the CMMS
  • Make a real impact - help reduce downtime, improve equipment reliability and drive continuous improvement
  • Use your technical knowledge - work closely with engineers, contractors and site stakeholders to keep maintenance running efficiently
  • Room to develop - build on your experience across planning, reliability, compliance and engineering systems

What will you be doing?

  • Planning and scheduling preventative maintenance (PPM), statutory inspections and engineering work
  • Managing and developing the site's CMMS system
  • Coordinating contractors, permits, RAMS and compliance activities
  • Monitoring engineering KPIs and downtime trends to identify improvements
  • Maintaining engineering records, audit documentation and training compliance
  • Supporting the wider engineering team to improve maintenance efficiency and site performance

What are we looking for?

  • A time-served engineer with a Level 3 Engineering qualification or equivalent
  • Experience in maintenance planning, PPM scheduling and CMMS systems
  • A background in manufacturing or FMCG
  • Strong organisational, IT and data management skills
  • Someone who can communicate effectively, work independently and take ownership of their workload
