A high-growth fin-tech business is seeking an ambitious Head of Commercial Analytics to lead pricing and commercial insight across its customer propositions. This role will own pricing strategy end-to-end, contribute to the development of new partnerships, and drive innovation through data-led learning.
The position sits at the centre of the company’s commercial and pricing strategy, using data-driven insights to identify how pricing can be used as a key lever for sustainable growth. The successful candidate will analyse customer behaviour, commercial performance, and market dynamics to inform decision-making and support the company’s scaling ambitions.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development of the company’s commercial analytics and pricing capability, working closely with strategy, finance, commercial, and engineering teams.
- Own and evolve pricing strategies across all customer propositions, ensuring they support sustainable growth and commercial performance.
- Use data and advanced analytics to generate insights that influence commercial decisions and business strategy.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to deliver impactful initiatives informed by analytics and experimentation.
- Balance strategic thinking with hands-on analysis, translating complex data into actionable business recommendations.
- Over time, build and lead a high-performing commercial analytics team.
Candidate Profile
- 7+ years’ experience in analytics, data science, or strategy-focused roles.
- Strong academic background (ideally 2:1 or above) in a quantitative or STEM discipline from a leading university.
- Advanced technical capability, including experience with tools such as SQL and Python, and the ability to work deeply with complex datasets.
- Demonstrated ability to combine detailed analysis with broader strategic thinking.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and experience working cross-functionally in fast-paced environments.
- High levels of ownership and accountability, with a proactive approach to driving outcomes.
