Project Finance Analyst

- £45,000 plus bonus

Main Duties and Responsibilities
Core Duties
- Conduct monthly follow-up of client activities in collaboration with multicultural management, technical direction, sales administration, and financial controlling teams.
- Prepare and communicate monthly margin reports.
- Ensure accurate revenue recognition.
- Provide financial analysis and insights to stakeholders to support informed decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Ensure effective and compliant project governance is applied across all projects.
- Monitor and track the global portfolio budget against defined targets.
- Provide data and analysis to support semester targets for individual projects.
Tools and Process Improvement
- Plan and communicate process improvements.
- Develop and implement new tools and dashboards using SMART, Power BI, SAP, and Excel.
People Management
- Demonstrate leadership and proactive engagement.
- Coach and support Junior Controllers.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all organizational levels.

These responsibilities should be carried out with the following mindset:
- Maintain strong interaction and collaboration with Business, Technical Direction, and support functions (Finance, Sales, Quality, etc.).
- Apply a global, pragmatic, and simplified approach, continuously challenging and improving current processes to enhance efficiency and rationalization.
Experience
- 3–5+ years of experience in project controlling within engineering, IT consulting, or professional services environments.
- Experience working in multi-system environments and handling data reconciliation processes.
Skills
- Strong financial analysis and business partnering capabilities.
- Experience with ERP systems.
- Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in Power BI or other modern BI tools.
- Solid understanding of data models, ETL processes, and automation.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
