The Role -
We're looking for a Client-Facing Cloud Implementation Specialist to join a growing Digital Services team within a well-established professional services environment.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone from a technical support, MSP, or IT service background who is ready to step into a more client-facing and consultative role.
You'll support businesses as they transition onto modern cloud accounting platforms such as Xero and QuickBooks Online, helping them through onboarding, data migration, and go-live support.
This is a hands-on role where you'll combine technical troubleshooting, systems understanding, and client communication to deliver smooth implementations across multiple clients.
What you'll be doing -
- Supporting clients through cloud accounting migrations (Xero & QuickBooks Online)
- Running discovery sessions to understand current systems and processes
- Helping design efficient, simplified future-state workflows
- Managing onboarding journeys from setup through to go-live
- Troubleshooting data, integration, and configuration issues
- Supporting bank feeds, chart of accounts, and system setups
- Working across internal systems and onboarding tools
- Improving data quality and supporting process standardisation
- Communicating clearly with non-technical stakeholders
- Providing support to junior team members and assisting with quality checks
Requirements -
We're open on background - the key requirement is strong technical aptitude and communication skills.
You'll likely have experience in:
- 1st line / 2nd line IT support
- MSP / managed service provider environments
- SaaS support or software implementation roles
- Internal IT support looking to move into client-facing work
You'll also be:
- Confident troubleshooting technical issues across multiple systems
- Comfortable speaking with clients and explaining technical concepts simply
- Interested in moving into a more consultative, client-facing role
- Open to learning new platforms (including accounting systems)
- Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities
You'll get real variety, ownership of work, and exposure to business change projects - not just ticket-based support.
