Azure Cloud Engineer - Terraform / Azure DevOps
Contract: 6 months
Location: London - Hybrid (2/3 days in the office)
I'm working with a leading UK financial services organisation that is in the middle of a major digital transformation, modernising legacy systems and building out a new self-service digital platform for customers.
As part of this journey, they're looking for an experienced Azure Cloud Engineer to join on an 6-month contract to help build and scale the cloud infrastructure that will support the next generation of their platform.
This is a hands-on engineering role focused on automation, modern infrastructure, and scalable Azure environments.
Key responsibilities:
- Designing and building secure, scalable Azure cloud infrastructure
- Developing Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
- Building and optimising CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps (ADO)
- Supporting modern cloud environments that power a new digital customer platform
- Working closely with DevOps, Security, and Engineering teams
- Helping drive automation, reliability, and platform maturity
Key skills required:
- Strong hands-on experience with Terraform (Infrastructure as Code)
- Experience building and maintaining Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines
- Solid experience working within Microsoft Azure environments
- Understanding of secure and scalable cloud architecture
