Delivery Manager

We are currently supporting a leading UK financial services organisation in the search for a Delivery Manager on a 6 month contract to drive the successful delivery of business-critical transformation initiatives.

As part of a major modernisation programme, the company is moving a number of legacy applications to the cloud, and the successful candidate will play a key role in delivering value through technology-enabled change. This is a great opportunity for a confident and technically-minded Delivery Manager to work on high-impact, complex projects.

This is a hybrid role with an expectation of 2/3 days a week in the London office.

• Lead the successful delivery of complex business and technical change initiatives with budgets in excess of £2m.

• Manage the full project lifecycle across multiple business and technical workstreams.

• Drive cloud migration activities, working closely with engineering and architecture teams.

• Translate business objectives into detailed execution plans with measurable benefits.

• Manage risks, issues, dependencies, and stakeholder expectations proactively.

• Deliver projects using Agile, Scrum, Kanban and/or traditional delivery approaches.

• Ensure effective transition of new services into business-as-usual operations.

• Provide delivery leadership across internal teams and third-party suppliers.

• Proven experience delivering complex change in a regulated Financial Services environment.

• Strong knowledge of cloud migration and legacy systems transformation (Azure or AWS ideal).

• Confident managing cross-functional teams including technical, operational, and business SMEs.

• Hands-on experience with Agile and hybrid project delivery methodologies.

• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive alignment across diverse teams.

• A background in Insurance, Pensions, or broader Financial Services is preferred.

• Relevant certifications (e.g., PRINCE2, AgilePM, Scrum, SAFe) are desirable but not essential.
