About Us:

My client is dynamic and growing business who specialise in the IT sector. They are now seeking a capable and proactive part-time HR professional to join their team in a standalone capacity , owning the HR function and helping us shape a positive and compliant people culture as they grow.

Role Overview:

This is a standalone HR role , perfect for someone confident working independently and managing the full employee lifecycle. You'll be the go-to person for all things HR—providing strategic and operational support across recruitment, employee relations, policy development, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of HR as the sole HR professional in the business
  • Provide expert advice on policies, procedures, and employment law
  • Lead recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding processes
  • Maintain accurate HR records and ensure legal compliance
  • Handle employee relations and support performance management
  • Develop and implement initiatives to support employee engagement and well-being

About You:

  • Proven experience in a similar standalone or senior HR role (CIPD qualification desirable)
  • IT/Tech industry experience
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment legislation
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Highly self-motivated and able to work autonomously
  • Confident advising managers and supporting staff at all levels
