Principal Privacy Operations Specialist

If you're ready to influence big-picture decisions while staying hands-on where it counts, this could be your next move.As a Principal Privacy Operations Specialist, you’ll lead complex, enterprise-scale privacy programmes across multiple regions. You'll act as a subject matter expert, supporting both delivery teams and senior stakeholders to get privacy operations right. Whether it’s building scalable privacy rights solutions that integrate seamlessly into business processes, designing RoPA solutions that empower teams to operate efficiently while meeting regulatory requirements, or developing vendor management frameworks that enable informed, risk-based decision-making, you’ll be at the centre of turning privacy challenges into practical, effective outcomes.This is a varied, strategic role. You might be designing end-to-end privacy solution one day and mentoring other specialists or supporting a CISO on vendor due diligence the next. You’ll partner with stakeholders across the privacy operations, advisory, and technical architecture teams to ensure cohesive and value-driven delivery.You’ll bring extensive experience in privacy operations, consulting or professional services, with a strong track record of leading complex, enterprise-level programmes across multiple jurisdictions. You understand what it takes to operationalise compliance with regulations like GDPR and CCPA, and you’ve delivered solutions that make privacy work in real-world environments.You’re confident advising senior stakeholders, including C-level leaders, and you know how to shape and steer operational privacy requirements with both clarity and flexibility. You bring credibility, pragmatism, and a drive to get things done, grounded in real-world experience applying privacy principles in practice. If you’ve worked with platforms like OneTrust, Transcend, or Syrenis, that’s a bonus, but what matters most is your ability to translate privacy requirements into solutions that make sense to clients.You’ll also be someone who can build trust quickly; whether that’s with a delivery team that needs a steady hand or a client who needs practical answers, fast. Certifications like CIPP/E or CIPM demonstrate a strong foundation in privacy, and we look for candidates who either hold these or can show equivalent applied knowledge. Whether it’s formal learning or hands-on experience, you should be able to ground your approach in recognised principles and communicate them clearly to clients and stakeholders.You’ll be part of a collaborative and ambitious team that values curiosity, clear thinking and integrity.
