The Role

We are seeking a self-motivated Account Executive with a "can-do" attitude to join our dynamic commercial team. In this critical role, you will dive deep into our business to truly understand our products, as well as the unique goals and needs of our clients. You will play a pivotal part in ensuring client satisfaction, driving retention, and expanding our footprint by sourcing and securing exciting new partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Sales Account Management: Plan, execute, and manage client accounts and projects. Collaborate closely with clients to understand their specific product or service requirements and develop tailored sales initiatives to meet their objectives.
- Relationship Building: Build and maintain excellent relationships with clients, managing their expectations while delivering an optimal level of sales/service. Ensure long-term client satisfaction.
- Business Development & Partnerships: Proactively source new partners and execute exciting partnership solutions aligned with our business goals. Build and propose business cases, negotiate attractive, mutually beneficial deals, and ensure these partnerships are firmly anchored to the company.
- Sales Collaboration: Leverage your existing relationships to uncover new sales opportunities.
- Product & Market Mastery: Develop a deep understanding of The Despatch Company’s products, existing customer base, and sales/marketing plans, actively contributing to their ongoing evolution.
- Communication & Representation: Provide regular updates, address client inquiries swiftly, and travel as needed to meet companies, partners, and attend industry tradeshows or events.
What We Are Looking For:
- Experience: Prior experience preferably in a similar Account Management role, with a strong track record of success in building strategic partnerships or managing key accounts.
- Stakeholder Management: Proven experience working effectively with senior stakeholders to negotiate and deliver winning solutions.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written English (required). You must be able to communicate, present, and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of an organisation.
- Drive & Determination: Highly goal-oriented, assertive, and a hands-on problem solver. You possess excellent organisational and time-management skills to thrive in a remote, fast-paced environment.
