We’re hiring a PHP Developer to join a specialist eCommerce technology business delivering high-performance Shopify solutions for retail brands across the UK.

This role will focus on building and evolving scalable PHP-based applications within the Shopify ecosystem, with a particular emphasis on multitenant architecture and complex app development.

You’ll be joining a collaborative, high-performing team where developers are trusted to own solutions end-to-end, not just write code to spec.

You’ll be:

• Designing and building scalable multitenant PHP applications
• Developing and maintaining Shopify-integrated apps and backend systems
• Working closely with technical stakeholders to architect robust solutions
• Improving application reliability, performance and maintainability
• Contributing to architectural decisions and technical best practice

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has strong commercial PHP experience, ideally within eCommerce
• Has worked extensively with Laravel or Symfony
• Understands multitenant architecture and scalable system design
• Has experience with Shopify APIs / app development lifecycle
• Writes clean, maintainable code and takes pride in quality engineering
