Our client is a fast-growing software business delivering market-leading ticketing products to forward-thinking organisations worldwide. Their platform is used by hundreds of thousands of people and powers ticket sales for some of the world's most prestigious live entertainment brands.

 

They're now looking for a Backend Engineer to play a pivotal role in developing their ticketing platform and products. This is an opportunity to work on live, high-profile projects with maximum exposure in the dynamic live entertainment industry.

 

What you'll be doing:

  • Architecting and delivering scalable, high-performance solutions.
  • Implementing impactful new features to broaden the user base.
  • Collaborating in an agile environment and mentoring peers.
  • Bringing passion, creativity, and technical expertise to every stage of the development process.

 

Skills and experience needed:

  • Proven experience building REST APIs with scalability in mind.
  • Strong Python knowledge and ecosystem expertise.
  • Proficiency in SQL and writing efficient queries.
  • Experience with ORMs.
  • Strong communicator and effective collaborator.

 

Bonus points for:

  • Experience with SQLAlchemy and FastAPI.
  • Knowledge of asynchronous architectures (e.g., Celery).
