Junior Java Developer

We're helping our retail banking client with their search for a junior java developer, who will has an excellent handle on microservices architecture.  Here are the essential skills the client needs for this junior java developer opportunity:-

• 3+ years of software development experience  in Java, and expected to be hands-on to software development tasks
• Solid Experience with microservices engineering
• Experience with Kafka for messaging an important aspect of the role
• Comfortable working with NoSQL databases (MongoDB)
• Familiar with SDLC  process
• A TDD approach to work and test automation (Junit, Mocking, Gherkin)
• Previous experience working in a retail banking environment a plus but not essential
• Excellent communication and follow-through, analytical, self-motivated, attention to detail a must

This is an inside IR35 contract and offers some potential to convert to a permanent junior java developer role.Please note this role requires 5 days a week office attendance in our client's beautiful offices, located in Central Birmingham.
