Interim Finance Director / Head of Finance (FTC or Day Rate)

Yarnton, Oxford | Hybrid

3-4 Month Assignment | Immediate Start

£100,000 - £120,000 Pro Rata or Equivalent Day Rate

An immediate requirement has arisen for an Interim Finance Director / Head of Finance to join a market-leading technology business, part of a listed PLC group, providing leadership cover during a transition period.

Reporting to the CEO and Group CFO, you'll join the Executive Management Team and take ownership of a c.£40m turnover international business with operations across the UK, US and Germany.

Key Responsibilities

• Business partner to the CEO and Group CFO
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial planning
• Oversee monthly reporting and financial performance
• Lead and support a finance team of five
• Drive process, systems and ERP improvements
• Ensure strong financial controls, governance and compliance
• Partner with engineering and R&D teams, providing financial oversight of development activities

About You

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified
• Previous experience operating at Finance Director, Head of Finance or Financial Controller level
• Experience within a technology, software, advanced engineering or R&D-led business is essential
• Strong technical accounting knowledge, including IFRS and UK/US GAAP
• Experience within multi-entity, international organisations
• Comfortable operating at Executive Team level and able to make an immediate impact
• Local to Oxfordshire/within commutable distance
