ServiceNow Architect

About the Role

This role will be delivering complex ServiceNow programmes across UK Defence, Central Government and Policing. These environments are high-assurance, security-conscious and technically varied.

We’re looking for a ServiceNow Technical Architect / Senior Technical Consultant to support platform design and delivery within these programmes. If you hold active DV clearance and have strong ServiceNow experience within enterprise or public sector environments, this could be a great fit.

What You’ll Be Doing

• You’ll support the design and implementation of ServiceNow solutions across a range of workstreams, contributing to platform architecture and ensuring quality delivery.
• Supporting solution architecture across ServiceNow platform delivery, from design through to implementation
• Contributing to platform structure, data models and integration approaches
• Providing technical leadership across ITSM, ITOM, SecOps and related workstreams
• Working closely with delivery teams to ensure good development practices and scalable solutions
• Collaborating with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical designs
• Supporting alignment with security requirements within regulated environments
• Assisting with platform governance, upgrades and ongoing improvements

What You’ll Need

• Active SC or DV clearance
• Strong ServiceNow experience in a technical leadership, senior developer or architecture capacity
• Good knowledge of core ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITOM, SecOps or SPM
• Experience working with integrations (REST, SOAP, MID Server, external tools)
• Ability to work with both technical teams and stakeholders

Desirable

• Exposure to public sector or regulated delivery environments
• Awareness of government security or assurance frameworks
• ITIL knowledge (v3 or v4)
