AI Development Lead

AI Development Lead - Bristol - Hybrid working onsite 2-3 times a fortnight

We are a web development consultancy who traditionally build web and mobile apps for clients but are looking at growing an AI Development Capability going forward.

So we are hiring an AI Development Lead to act as the technical and strategic brain inside the team and build out this new capability of AI opportunities.

Role Objectives

● Assess external partner development teams capability in AI Development. What tools do they use, does it work, can they use AI for development projects effectively.

● Act as an AI Development specialist to support customer pre sales process and business development teams. Offering AI expertise if needed in customer project discussions.

● Advocate an AI first culture internally. Improving use of AI within the business and share expertise in AI tools and processes that can add value within the business teams.

Profile Required

● Hands on experience in Web or Mobile App development (ideally full-stack or backend).

● An AI evangelist and expert with AI tools and advocating for AI-driven approaches that improve efficiency and product impact.

● Familiar with Chatbot development, Prompt Engineering and AI focussed development

● Demonstrable experience of using AI tools to produce code - understanding the limitations, pitfalls, and required guardrails to produce effective code

● Proven hands-on experience with AI tools (e.g. building LLM-based apps or integrating APIs).

● Experienced working with external development teams in offshore/nearshore model

This is a Perm hire who will lead and grow out AI Capability

£90-100k salary and a fantastic opportunity to take us forward as an AI first Development Consultancy
