Cyber Essentials Plus Assessor

About the Role

This is an opportunity to join growing cyber security consultancy where you'll be supporting organisations across the UK. This is a hands-on, client-facing role where you’ll lead Cyber Essentials Plus assessments and work closely with businesses to improve their security foundations.

What You’ll Do

• Deliver end-to-end Cyber Essentials Plus assessments
• Assess core controls (firewalls, access, patching, malware, configuration)
• Run vulnerability scans across on-prem and cloud environments
• Produce clear, evidence-based reports with remediation guidance
• Support clients through certification and improvements
• Manage your own workload and stay aligned with IASME/NCSC updates

What You’ll Need

• CE+ Assessor (or eligible to become one)
• 2+ years in cyber security / assurance
• Experience with vulnerability scanning tools
• Strong knowledge of Cyber Essentials and modern threats
• Understanding of networking, firewalls & cloud (M365, Azure, AWS)
• Clear communication skills

Nice to have:

• ISO 27001 Lead Auditor/Implementor
• Pen testing experience
