Sales Director

About our client:

Our client is an ambitious and fast growing international SaaS business operating at the forefront of its sector. With the UK representing its most rapidly expanding region, this is a pivotal role offering the opportunity to shape growth, influence global strategy and lead a high performing team.

This is a senior leadership position with full ownership of the UK market and a seat at the global leadership table. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving revenue, delivering a strong go to market strategy and ensuring sustainable growth that supports wider international expansion.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead and execute the UK go to market strategy in line with global priorities
  • Take full ownership of revenue growth, planning, and profit and loss performance
  • Drive expansion across key sectors such as real estate and finance and legal
  • Monitor and respond to market trends, competitor activity and regulatory changes
  • Contribute to strategic decision making, product direction and business planning
  • Provide insight from the UK market to shape wider company strategy
  • Represent regional priorities while aligning with global objectives
  • Develop and deliver the regional sales strategy
  • Lead and build the sales team to exceed targets (both new business and customer success)
  • Establish scalable sales processes, forecasting and pipeline management
  • Build and strengthen partnerships, including channel and integration partners
  • Identify and secure new partnerships to unlock growth opportunities
  • Oversee the full customer journey to ensure strong engagement and retention
  • Drive a proactive approach to customer satisfaction, adoption and growth
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration and innovation
  • Ensure strong alignment with global teams including product, marketing, operations and finance

Ideal candidate profile:

  • Proven experience in a senior commercial leadership role with responsibility for revenue growth and strategy
  • Strong track record of designing and executing go to market strategies within scaling SaaS organisations
  • Experience managing cross functional teams and full profit and loss ownership
  • Demonstrated success in partnership development and customer success leadership
  • Ability to operate at both strategic and hands on levels, engaging directly with customers when needed
  • Commercially astute with a data led approach to decision making
  • Comfortable influencing at executive level and contributing to global strategy
  • Able to balance regional priorities with wider business objectives
  • Experience in RegTech or FinTech would be advantageous but is not essential
  • Brings an ownership mindset with the drive to deliver both immediate impact and long term growth

Remuneration:

Our client will tailor the remuneration to the successful candidate, some highlights are below.

  • Basic Salary £90,000 - £120,000 DOE
