Salary: Up to £49,513  pro rata plus excellent benefits.

Contract: 12 Month family leave cover

Hours per week: 37.5 hours per week. You will be required to work in-person a minimum of two days per week, in line with our hybrid working model.

    About the role:

    We are looking for a media manager to work as part of a small, start-up style team on our public campaigning initiative. This role provides an exciting opportunity to lead on our earned media approach, working to secure high-quality coverage of our campaigns and the Health Equals coalition across print, online and broadcast media to influence public opinion and political change.

    In this role, you'll use your skills to deliver our PR strategy for our upcoming public-facing campaigns, managing our PR agency partner, leading our press office function, building trusted relationships with journalists and influencers, and coordinating Health Equals member spokespeople and lived experience storytellers. Your work day-to-day will vary from strategic to delivery focused, such as writing press releases and pitching to national and regional media, fielding enquiries and responding to developments in the external environment.

    This is a fantastic opportunity for a media manager who can help Health Equals to grow its profile and ensure its campaigns achieve impact, helping to play a part in bringing about better health for people in the UK.
