My customer is at the start of a very exciting digital transformation journey and they are looking to make their first key strategic hire to shape and build their Cloud and DevOps capability.

The Cloud DevOps Engineer will be responsible for designing and implementing cloud infrastructure in Azure as well as putting in the processes and technology to deliver CI/CD pipelines.

This role is both strategic and hands-on.

Key requirements

• The customer is ideally looking for expertise in Microsoft Azure, specifically Azure Functions, although they are open to similar expertise on another Cloud environment, eg AWS Lambda
• Solid understanding of CI/CD methodologies and automated deployment practices
• Proficiency in automation Scripting
• Knowledge of Cloud Security and FinOps
