Data & Analytics Analyst
Manpower are currently seeking an interim Data & Analytics Analyst to work with our global FMCG client The Magnum Ice Cream Company, renowned for brands such as Magnum, Ben & Jerry's, Cornetto and Wall's, and become an integral part of their fast-paced FMCG environment.
The position is based in Kingston upon Thames, Surrey. This is a full-time temporary role to run for 6 months, requiring 36.25 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Compensation for this role is competitive.
The role currently offers a mix of remote and onsite working, subject to adjustment based on business requirements.

Position Overview
We’re looking for a Data & Analytics Analyst to unlock the value of wholesaler and customer sales data across Magnum’s UK business.
You will play a critical role in connecting multiple wholesaler data sources, working with Databricks and pipelines, and transforming raw sales data into clear, actionable insights. This includes enabling visibility on sell-in, sell-out, distribution, range, and performance across wholesale partners.
You will work closely with data engineers to ensure data is ingested, structured, and ready for analysis, while acting as a Power BI super user to deliver dashboards that drive commercial decisions across sales, account management, and operations.
Key Responsibilities
Connect & Integrate Wholesaler Data
- Connect and consolidate multiple wholesaler sales data sources (including but not limited to EPOS, shipment/sell-in, CRM, partner data)
- Work with Databricks to query, combine, and transform large-scale sales datasets
- Connect to and leverage data pipelines to access reliable, up-to-date wholesaler data
- Partner with data engineers to onboard new wholesale partners and data feeds
- Ensure consistent, accurate mapping of SKU, customer, and channel data
Data Ingestion & Pipeline Collaboration
- Support and oversee data ingestion processes for wholesaler and partner data
- Work closely with data engineers to bring in new data sources and improve data availability
- Validate and sense-check incoming data to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Help ensure data pipelines deliver timely, structured, analysis-ready datasets
Data Visualisation & Commercial Insights
- Act as a Power BI super user, building dashboards focused on wholesale performance
- Deliver reporting on key commercial metrics (e.g. sales trends, distribution, range compliance, customer performance)
- Create intuitive data visualisations for sales and account teams
- Translate complex sales data into clear insights and actions
Make Data Usable for the Business
- Develop clean, structured datasets to support sales, CRM, and commercial reporting
- Contribute to a single source of truth for wholesaler and customer data
- Ensure consistency in definitions (e.g. sales metrics, customer views, SKUs)
- Enable self-serve analytics for commercial teams
Set Us Up for Success
- Support scalable solutions that accommodate new wholesalers and growing data complexity
- Contribute to data documentation, definitions, and data dictionaries
- Ensure high standards of data quality, governance, and trust
- Identify opportunities to improve data coverage, accuracy, and reporting
Business Partnering & Opportunity Identification
- Work closely with sales, account managers, and CRM teams to answer key business questions
- Identify trends and opportunities within wholesaler performance and distribution
- Proactively highlight risks and opportunities (e.g. gaps in distribution, declining accounts, growth pockets)
- Translate business needs into analytical solutions
Required Skills
- Advanced Power BI expertise (data modelling, DAX, dashboard delivery)
- Experience working with Databricks desirable (data querying, transformation)
- Strong SQL skills desirable and ability to work with large, complex sales datasets
- Experience with data pipelines and ingestion processes
- Proven ability to connect and combine multiple data sources
- Experience working with sales, wholesaler, or FMCG data is highly desirable
- Strong understanding of commercial metrics and reporting
- Experience collaborating with data engineers and non-technical stakeholders
- Commercially minded with strong curiosity for sales performance drivers
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on data accuracy and consistency
