Job summary

Mid Yorkshire Teaching NHS Trust is embarking on a major digital transformation as we implement the award-winning Nervecentre Electronic Patient Record (EPR) system. This programme will play a key role in improving the quality, safety and experience of patient care across the organisation.

We are seeking motivated and ambitious Project Workstream Leads to join our experienced Programme Team. You will be responsible for the successful delivery of projects within the EPR Programme, working closely with clinical and operational colleagues across a range of services.

Main duties of the job

  • Lead and manage a defined EPR project workstream from initiation through to delivery.
  • Work collaboratively with clinical, operational and digital teams to design, implement and embed new digital workflows.
  • Ensure robust project governance, documentation and reporting are maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Support safe and effective decisionmaking, ensuring quality, safety and efficiency remain at the forefront of project activities.
  • Coordinate stakeholder engagement activities across services including Emergency Department, Inpatients, Outpatients, Medicines Management, Hospital Administration and Data & Analytics.
  • Manage risks, issues and dependencies within your workstream and escalate as appropriate.
  • Contribute to a smooth and safe transition to the Nervecentre EPR system across the Trust.

Qualifications

  • Educated to ALevel or equivalent managerial/professional qualification
  • PRINCE2 Foundation (or equivalent project management experience)

Experience

  • Experience working both independently and within a collaborative team environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly SharePoint, Teams, Word and Excel
  • Experience working with staff at all organisational level
  • Evidence of effective team working

Knowledge & Awareness

  • Awareness of personal limitations and boundaries
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and willingness to undertake further training

Skills & Abilities

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to engage effectively with a wide range of staff groups
  • Able to provide and receive complex information with strong persuasive, motivational, negotiation, training and presentation skills

  • Competent in planning and organising complex activities with the need for regular adjustment
