Customer Success Intern/Graduates

Working Mode: Hybrid (3 days in the office)
Working Hours: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM

The Role
As a Customer Success Intern / Graduates at The National College, you'll join a collaborative, mission-driven team where your ideas matter. Working alongside our Customer Support and wider commercial teams, you'll gain hands-on experience supporting our members throughout their membership journey. You'll help deliver excellent customer service across multiple communication channels, assist with resolving customer queries, and collaborate with colleagues across the business to enhance customer satisfaction while contributing to projects that support schools and education leaders across the UK.
Job Responsibilities
You will have the opportunity to:
- Develop an understanding of TNC's business, including our brand, customers, products, and value proposition within the education sector.
- Gain hands-on experience across key customer-facing functions, including Customer Support, Account Management, Operations, and Customer Success, to build a broad understanding of the business.
- Provide first-line support to customers via phone, live chat, and email, assisting with enquiries and supporting their resolution under the guidance of the Customer Support team.
- Deliver a professional, efficient, and customer-focused support experience across multiple communication channels.
- Learn how to identify customer needs, troubleshoot issues, and provide timely, effective solutions while ensuring a positive customer experience.
- Support customers in maximising the value of their membership by helping them access relevant learning resources, services, and opportunities.
- Promote self-service support by guiding customers to our Helpdesk, knowledge base, and AI-powered support tools where appropriate.
- Maintain accurate customer records and learn to use TNC's internal systems, including CRM and reporting tools, to record customer interactions.
- Work collaboratively with Customer Support, Technical, Product, and other internal teams to investigate customer queries and support issue resolution.
- Contribute to business-focused projects by conducting research, sharing ideas, proposing solutions, and presenting your findings at the end of the internship.
- Provide suggestions to improve customer engagement, retention, and internal processes, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Stay up to date with platform developments, new products, and business processes to provide informed support and develop your knowledge.
- Provide administrative and operational support to the Customer Support team, contributing to wider team objectives and the smooth running of the function.

Education & Experience
- Degree in business, marketing, education, communications, or a related field preferred (Penultimate Year or Pre-Master's)
- Prior experience in a customer-facing, sales, or service environment is advantageous but not required
