The Role

As a Recruiter, you will play a pivotal role in our recruitment operations, collaborating with hiring managers to understand their talent needs and deliver tailored hiring solutions. You will also work alongside the wider People Team on various recruitment projects, continually improving our hiring practices. Furthermore, you will ensure a smooth onboarding experience for new joiners, making them feel welcome and set up for success.

Your expertise in recruitment will be key to helping us attract the right talent, drive innovation, and support our continued growth.

Responsibilities

Partner with hiring managers to understand their talent needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.

  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process including job posting, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer management.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with candidates, ensuring a positive and engaging candidate experience.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the People Team on recruitment projects and initiatives to drive continuous improvement.
  • Support and contribute to onboarding activities, ensuring new joiners have a smooth and positive introduction to The National College.
  • Provide expert recruitment advice to hiring managers, offering insights on market trends and best practices.
  • Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of candidates through proactive sourcing and networking.
  • Ensure all recruitment activities comply with internal policies and legal requirements.
  • Leverage your Tech/SaaS recruitment experience to bring innovative sourcing strategies and stay ahead of market trends.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a recruiter, preferably in an in-house setting
  • Experience recruiting within the Tech/SaaS industry or similar fast-paced sectors.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to build trust and work collaboratively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a positive and proactive approach.
  • Experience in managing end-to-end recruitment processes.
  • Ability to juggle multiple vacancies and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools.
  • Knowledge of employment law and recruitment compliance.
  • Understanding of employer branding and talent attraction strategies.

Desirable:

  • Experience in the EdTech or digital learning sectors.
