The Role

We’re looking for a Revenue Operations Specialist to join our team at The National College. In this role, you’ll be at the heart of our sales operations — managing new orders, maintaining accurate data, and ensuring smooth integration between sales and finance. You’ll play a key part in supporting our growth, helping to streamline processes, improve reporting, and provide insights that drive decision-making.

Responsibilities

Sales Processing & Finance Systems

  • Process new sales to ensure timely invoicing and a smooth onboarding journey.
  • Manage and streamline sales processing workflows to improve accuracy and efficiency.
  • Work closely with Finance to ensure seamless integration between sales and financial systems.
  • Support revenue recognition processes through accurate and timely invoicing.

Data Guardianship

  • Maintain integrity and accuracy of sales and customer data across systems.
  • Conduct regular data audits and cleansing to improve reliability.

Pipeline Management

  • Monitor and maintain the health of the sales pipeline.
  • Collaborate with Sales to ensure accurate opportunity stages and forecasting.
  • Provide regular pipeline reports and insights to stakeholders.

Reporting & Insights

  • Generate and share sales and revenue reports with senior management.
  • Build and maintain dashboards for real-time insights.
  • Analyse sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.

Additional Tasks

  • Provide operational support to Sales and Marketing teams, resolving queries quickly.
  • Assist in optimising CRM and sales-related systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive efficiencies and process improvements.
  • Support revenue growth strategies and initiatives.
  • Contribute to team culture, attending the office on a monthly basis.

Job Requirements

Experience

  • Proven experience in sales order processing, sales operations, or a similar role (SaaS/tech preferred).
  • Background in data science or analysis is highly desirable.

Skills & Competencies

  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong data analysis and Excel skills.
  • Experience with CRM and ERP systems (desirable).
  • Familiarity with data manipulation tools (advantageous).
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work across teams.

Qualifications

  • Degree-level qualification, preferably in a business or data-related subject.
