Commerical Management Accountant

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Producing monthly management accounts, preparing and analysing profit and loss, and providing actuals reporting against budget with commentary
• Breaking down P&L into operational and department categories, interrogating results, and supporting reforecasting and budgeting
• Calculating and understanding fuel prices and customer recharges
• Working with large data sets to provide detailed MI for senior management review
• Reviewing operational costs and supporting with ad hoc analysis
• Supporting process improvement, efficiency, and automation within MS Dynamics

What you will need:

• Previous experience in a similar role (Assistant Management Accountant, Management Accountant, Finance Analyst)
• Good understanding of technology and a passion for interpreting numbers
• Strong Excel skills, comfortable with Xlookups, Pivots, and advanced formulas
• Early stages of ACCA or CIMA study, or QBE with relevant experience
• A mindset for making improvements and settling into the role for the next few years
