Product Owner

Role : Product Owner (Enterprise SaaS)

Salary : £45,000 - £65,000 (DoE)

Location : Cambridge, hybrid (3 days per week in the office)

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Product Owner or Business Analyst to join a collaborative software development team building products for UK and European markets. You will become the voice of the customer for a key operations platform, working closely with developers, testers and users to make sure the team is solving the right problems and delivering real value.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary product contact for the operations platform, representing the needs of both internal users and external customers
  • Build strong relationships with enterprise customers, handling onboarding, training and ongoing support
  • Coordinate customer queries, manage updates and ensure feedback is captured and fed back into the product roadmap
  • Lead customer onboarding activities, including training users, supporting required integrations and coordinating internal teams to set up market connections
  • Translate business and market needs into clear, actionable requirements and user stories for the development team
  • Provide domain insight throughout the development lifecycle, including reviewing and refining solutions with the team
  • Carry out user acceptance testing to ensure new functionality meets customer needs before release
  • Monitor upcoming market and regulatory changes and work with the Product Manager to shape longer term product strategy
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of product and development practices within an agile environment

Skills & Experience Required

  • Experience working directly with enterprise customers on onboarding, training and support for complex software products
  • Background as a Product Owner or Business Analyst on business software products, ideally B2B or enterprise
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Comfortable translating complex business, market and operational needs into clear product requirements
  • Experience working in an agile software development environment, collaborating in cross functional teams
  • Well organised, able to balance day to day delivery with longer term product goals
  • Customer focused mindset, with a track record of building trust and providing high quality service
  • Strong team player who enjoys working in a friendly, collaborative environment

Desirable

  • Background in defining and delivering complex business software in a regulated or highly technical domain
  • Familiarity with agile practices such as XP, Scrum or Kanban
  • Experience working in small, empowered product teams with a strong focus on continuous improvement

Working Model

  • Permanent, full-time role, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
  • Hybrid working with 3 days per week in the Cambridge office and the rest from home
