Salary: £52,000

About the Role

An established digital team is looking for a Developer to lead the delivery of modern, scalable web solutions built on Umbraco CMS. This is a hands-on development role, ideal for someone with experience in CMS.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop applications using Umbraco and APIs
• Extend and maintain custom functionality across Umbraco up to V13
• Build modular .NET/C# components and integrate third-party services
• Work with front-end teams using modern frameworks (React, Vue, Angular)
• Write robust, well-documented, and scalable code

Required Skills & Experience

• 4 years of professional experience with Umbraco CMS, including back-end development
• Expertise in .NET / C#, ASP.NET MVC, and .NET Core/.NET 6+
• Demonstrated experience with headless CMS or decoupled web architecture
• Solid foundation in front-end technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript
• Familiarity with Git, version control workflows, and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience working with SQL Server and relational database design

Desirable Skills

• Exposure to Azure, cloud-based hosting, and DevOps practices
• Knowledge of front-end frameworks like React, Vue.js, or similar
• Umbraco Certification
