Commercial Lawyer - London

Our client, a leading international law firm known for its deep sector expertise in technology is seeking to expand its highly-regarded Commercial practice in London.

They are recruiting for both a Senior Associate and an Associate to join their dynamic and fast-growing team.

This is an exceptional opportunity for driven lawyers to apply their expertise to some of the most technically complex and cutting-edge industries.

You will be joining a specialist Commercial team focusing on the intersection of contracts, data, and digital regulation.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Commercial Contracts: Drafting, negotiating, and advising on complex commercial agreements, particularly those involving Intellectual Property (IP), technology, and digital services.
• Data Protection: Providing expert counsel on GDPR, data transfers, and compliance across various jurisdictions.
• Digital Regulation: Advising clients on emerging regulatory landscapes, including consumer protection, Artificial Intelligence (AI), digital services regulation, media, and cybersecurity.
• Sector Focus: Working with clients predominantly in the high-growth technology, media, entertainment, and life sciences sectors.

Key Requirements

• Experience: A proven track record in Commercial law, with significant expertise in Data Protection and Digital Regulation.
• Sector Exposure (Desirable): Previous experience advising clients or regulators within the technology, media, life sciences, or related high-tech sectors is highly desirable.
• Skills: Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills, with a commercial and client-focused approach.
