We are currently seeking a Hybrid Clinical Pharmacist to work in General Practice. This is a brilliant opportunity for someone with a community background with a passion to develop clinically, who is looking for remote employment.

The Role

This position is a Hybrid working role, suitable for candidates looking for either locum or permanent employment.

We are looking for a Hybrid Clinical Pharmacist to undertake medicine reconciliations of patient record/prescribing in line with the practice protocols and update patient records, support medicine reviews and synchronisation for groups of patients i.e., care homes and help patients to get the best from their medicines by switching the medications to agreed and approved protocols. You will carry out prescribing audits and medicines safety alerts.

In recognition of the important role pharmacy technicians can play in general practice we are seeking a professional who can support patients to get the most from their medicines, contributing to Structures Medication Reviews (SMRs) in collaboration with the clinical pharmacist and for their skills and knowledge around acute and repeat prescribing processes and improving patients safe use of medicines to contribute toward the management of patients on site.

The Skills

To join our team, you will have 1-year minimum experience of working in a clinical practice as a registered pharmacy technician. You will have a relevant degree/qualification to show you are registered and you will be a highly focussed and motivated individual.
