Main duties of the job
The E-rostering Team is looking for an energetic and enthusiastic HR Systems and Insight Administrator to support the ongoing delivery of electronic staff rostering.
This is a varied role in which you will undertake system administration, provide telephone and email support, one-to-one/small group training, and assist with the extraction, collation, and manipulation of data to produce reports. You will need to be able to work independently when required but the ability to work within a team is equally important.

You will be given the opportunity to learn about all things E-Rostering and acquire accreditation as an assistant administrator of E-Rostering software.

Job responsibilities
This role requires an individual with experience of providing service to customers. An aptitude for problem solving, great attention to detail and a considered approach is also needed. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are also essential.
You will be confident working with all staff across in a wide range of professional groups and demonstrate effective time management and interpersonal skills.
Ability to respond quickly to changing plans and be proactive is also important.
Excellent IT skills are required for this role, particularly Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office products. Experience of the Allocate Optima systems and ESR is advantageous, but not essential as training will be provided to the right candidate who can demonstrate aptitude.
Person Specification
Qualifications/Training and Professional Development
- Good standard of education including GCSE level or equivalent in Math's and English Language.
- NVQ Level 3 qualification or equivalent.
- Willing to undertake development and training on the job.
- IT qualification
Experience and Knowledge
- Experience of providing a service to customers using a variety of media.
- Experience and proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office products: Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Demonstrable intermediate level knowledge in Excel.
- Experience of working within a team.
- Experience of computerised information systems.
- System administration experience.
- Knowledge of the E-Rostering system.
- Previous NHS experience.
- IT systems helpdesk experience.
