We’re currently hiring a Senior Business Analyst to join a large retail organisation embarking on a major retail operations modernisation programme. This is a high-impact role where you’ll work across digital, retail operations, and emerging technology initiatives to help shape the future of the business.
This programme spans B2B eCommerce, retail operational transformation and the adoption of AI within a retail environment. This is a great opportunity for a BA who enjoys working across complex, cross-functional initiatives.
The Role
As a Senior Business Analyst you will play a key role in translating business needs into clear, structured requirements and helping define the future operating model across several transformation workstreams.
You will work closely with senior stakeholders across technology, digital commerce, and retail operations, helping drive clarity on both current and future state processes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading requirements gathering across multiple workstreams within the retail transformation programme
- Running workshops with business and technology stakeholders to define needs and priorities
- Documenting as-is and to-be processes across retail operations and digital channels
- Supporting initiatives across B2B eCommerce, retail technology and operational systems
- Working with product, engineering, and delivery teams to ensure requirements are understood and delivered effectively
- Identifying opportunities to improve processes through automation, data, and AI capabilities
- Helping shape the future operating model for modern retail operations
What We’re Looking For
- Strong experience working as a Senior Business Analyst within large organisations
- Background delivering projects within retail, eCommerce or retail operations environments
- Experience gathering and documenting complex requirements across multiple business functions
- Proven ability to map as-is / to-be processes and business workflows
- Experience working on digital transformation or modernisation programmes
- Strong stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills
- Exposure to areas such as B2B commerce platforms, retail technology, ERP/POS integrations, or data/AI initiatives is highly beneficial
