Data Engineer - SSAS Tabular | SQL | PowerBI

• €70k-€80k/year + 15% bonus + health + pension

We're working with a well-established business based in Dublin that’s seeking an experienced Data Engineer to support and enhance their existing data platform. 

You’ll be working on a complex and mature data estate on premise, specifically focused on SSAS Tabular models, advanced SQL (including Stored Procedures), and front-end analytics via Power BI.

• Developing, maintaining, and enhancing SSAS Tabular models

• Supporting and improving a complex SQL-based ETL process, with a strong emphasis on Stored Procedures

• Creating advanced DAX measures to power key business reporting in Power BI

• Working in SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) to understand and modify existing database logic

• Contributing to an established BI environment with high visibility across the business

• Proven experience working with SSAS Tabular models

• Strong SQL skills, especially in writing and maintaining complex Stored Procedures

• Hands-on experience with DAX and Power BI

• Comfort working within an existing, intricate data environment — you must be able to read, interpret, and safely modify existing logic

• Exposure to using SSMS in day-to-day work

Candidates with a primary focus on front-end reporting or dashboarding, without strong back-end SQL/Stored Procedure experience, will not be a fit for this role.
