Location: Galway, hybrid working
Contract length: 12 months, €550/day

Principal Java Developer wanted to help design and build high-throughput systems for a global tech company in Galway. You’ll get your hands on some meaty enterprise projects in some of the latest cloud / microservices in applications of huge scale and consequence.

This is a great opportunity for a Principal Java developer who is seeking a combination input into planning, mentorship, strategy but yet remaining hands-on.

 

Desired Skills

  • 8+ years Java development experience,
  • Strong experience in Spring Boot and a background working across the Spring framework.
  • Comfortable working with modern TypeScript tech is desired, exposure to Angular / React / Node are  a plus but not entirely essential.
  • Good knowledge around AWS and building scalable & reliable software, managing various deployments and environemnts in a cloud setting.
  • Exposure to Kafka / MQ tech nice to have
  • Exposure to Kubernetes / Docker etc. nice to have.
  • Curiosity about AI-driven efficiencies and a knack for proposing smarter ways to build
