Senior Data Engineer

Our client is a Global Financial Services Company who are seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer to join their Dublin office on a 12 Month contract. In this role you will be designing, developing, testing and deploying data integration solutions, support and oversee current ETL operations, working with Informatica, Axway, or ETL toolsets. 

Prior involvement with financial services clients is advantageous. 

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a Software Engineering or Mathematics discipline
• Over 5 years hands-on experience with Oracle is essential
• Experience with Tableau, Java, and general BI and database development desirable
• Exposure to data modelling concepts, data virtualisation tools (e.g. Tibco Information Server), Angular and HTML desirable
• Angular, Kuberentes/EKS and AWS experience desirale
• Strong hands-on experience of writing and tuning SQL
• Strong API integration experience
• Understanding of and experience with micro-services architecture concepts and emerging patterns
• Strong agile experience
