Sr IT Audit & Security Manager – Dublin

€65-85k, 10-15% Bonus, 25 days leave

We are partnering with a client to find a talented Sr IT Audit & Security Manager to join their business.  This is a unique opportunity to lead impactful IT audit projects while working across emerging technologies and critical operational areas.

Ideally you will have experience in IT audits delivered as part of outsourced/ co sourced internal audit models in industry, financial services and the public sector

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Managing a portfolio of internal IT audits of varying size, scope and complexity
  • Building and maintaining excellent client relationships
  • Developing audit plans and scoping audits
  • Overseeing work including managing / guiding / reviewing junior staff
  • Drafting audit reports including audit findings and recommendation
  • Liaising with audit staff and client management
  • Presentation at audit committee meetings
  • Acting as part of the IT audit management team and contributing to the growth and development of the team
  • Contributing to the development and training of IT audit staff
  • Contribution to the development of our internal IT audit methodology

Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of IT auditing experience in an audit firm
  • Knowledge of cyber security standards (NIST, ISO27001, NIS-D, etc.)
  • A technical qualification in cyber security, networking or infrastructure or similar
  • Previous internal IT audit experience particularly in financial services
  • Previous experience managing internal IT audit teams 
  • A registered IT audit qualification – CISA, CISM or equivalent
  • Excellent knowledge of a wide range of technology (applications, infrastructure, networking, IT management controls)
  • Ability to operate in a fast moving and dynamic environment
  • Organised, structured and self motivated
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong project management skills
  • Excellent organisational and planning capabilities
  • Strong oral, presentation and written communication skills in English
