Key responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases to ensure software functionality and performance
- Identify, document, and track bugs effectively using issue tracking tools such as Jira
- Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and designers to understand project requirements and establish testing strategies
- Perform comprehensive functional, regression, integration, and performance testing to verify software quality
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of automated test frameworks to improve testing efficiency
- Ensure all quality standards are met prior to product releases, maintaining high levels of reliability
- Promote best QA practices and support continuous process improvements within the team
- Review technical documentation for accuracy and clarity to support testing activities
- Provide technical support for customer-facing software issues, ensuring timely and effective resolution
About you:
- Proven experience as a QA Engineer or in a similar quality assurance role within a software development environment
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, QA processes, and testing tools
- Natural curiosity and attention to detail, with a knack for identifying issues and reproducing customer-reported bugs
- Basic knowledge of programming or scripting languages such as JavaScript, Python, or Java
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose issues effectively
