Main duties of the job

The Junior IT Systems Trainer plays a key role in helping our staff confidently use digital and clinical IT systems that support safe and effective patient care. You will work as part of a friendly and supportive training team, contributing to the design and delivery of engaging training resources and learning sessions that meet the needs of a diverse workforce.In this role, you will support the development of digital learning content such as eLearning modules, videos and user guides, as well as deliver training through a mix of face-to-face, virtual and hands-on sessions. You will also provide second-line training support, helping users resolve issues and build confidence in their use of systems.You will work closely with trainers, project teams and system specialists to support system changes, upgrades and go-live activity, ensuring staff are well prepared for new ways of working. Alongside this, you will help coordinate training activity, support service reporting, and contribute to the smooth day-to-day running of the training function.This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys helping others learn, has an interest in digital systems, and wants to develop a career in NHS IT training. Qualifications

Essential
  • Maths and English GCSE Grade C/4 (or similar).
  • Level 4 qualification (HND, diploma or equivalent) in relevant technical/administrative or training subject (or equivalent occupational/professional experience)
  • ICT Skills at Level 3 (or equivalent professional experience)
Desirable
  • Training Qualification at entry level or be willing to work towards in first year

knowledge

Essential
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of IT systems and hardware
  • Customer Services techniques
  • Knowledge and understanding of administration of EPR systems.

  • Knowledge of Teaching and Learning Techniques
