Are you passionate about technology and helping others develop new skills? We're looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Junior IT Systems Trainer to join our EPR Services / Health Informatics team.

The post holder will support the delivery of high-quality IT training and digital learning resources for Trust staff, with a particular focus on Electronic Patient Record (EPR) systems and other centrally managed clinical IT systems. You will help design and maintain eLearning content, training videos, and user guides, as well as deliver face-to-face and virtual training sessions to a wide range of clinical and non-clinical staff.

Main duties of the job

In this role, you will support the development of digital learning content such as eLearning modules, videos and user guides, as well as deliver training through a mix of face-to-face, virtual and hands-on sessions. You will also provide second-line training support, helping users resolve issues and build confidence in their use of systems.

You will work closely with trainers, project teams and system specialists to support system changes, upgrades and go-live activity, ensuring staff are well prepared for new ways of working. Alongside this, you will help coordinate training activity, support service reporting, and contribute to the smooth day-to-day running of the training function.

Qualifications

Essential
  • Maths and English GCSE/equivalent at grade C/level 4 or above.
  • Level 4 qualification (HND, diploma or equivalent) in relevant technical/administrative or training subject (or equivalent occupational/professional experience).
  • ICT Skills at Level 3 (or equivalent professional experience).
Desirable
  • Training Qualification at entry level or be willing to work towards in first year.

Skills and abilities

Essential
  • Ability to work on own initiative, demonstrating appropriate troubleshooting and escalation methods.
  • Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills in variety of environments.

  • Customer Service experience.

Knowledge
