The Supply Register is proud to be working in partnership with Wolverhampton College to recruit an enthusiastic and committed IT Support Technician to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to support students and staff by providing high-quality technical assistance and ensuring the smooth operation of the College’s IT systems and infrastructure.

About the Role

As an IT Support Technician at Wolverhampton College, you will:

• Provide first-line and second-line IT support to staff and students across the College,
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network, and user account issues,
• Support and maintain desktop computers, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and classroom technology,
• Assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT systems and applications,
• Manage service desk tickets and ensure issues are resolved within agreed timescales,
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to support the continuous improvement of IT services.

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience in an IT support, helpdesk, or technical support role,
• Knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365, and common IT hardware,
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills,
• Excellent communication and customer service skills,
• The ability to prioritise workloads and work effectively both independently and as part of a team,
• Relevant IT qualifications are desirable, along with a valid or update-service DBS (or willingness to obtain one).
