 Senior Solutions/Enterprise Architect

We are seeking an experienced Senior Solutions/Enterprise Architect to lead the design and implementation of secure, scalable, and innovative IT solutions for our esteemed London-based client. This role requires a visionary leader capable of aligning technology strategies with business objectives, ensuring robust and future-proof architectures within high-assurance environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and maintain enterprise architecture frameworks that support business goals and technology strategies.

  • Solution Design: Architect end-to-end solutions across various domains, ensuring integration, scalability, and security.

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business leaders, IT professionals, and external partners, to drive architectural decisions.

  • Governance & Compliance: Establish and enforce architecture standards, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and security protocols.

  • Mentorship: Guide and mentor junior architects and technical teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Proven experience (typically 8+ years) in enterprise architecture within complex, regulated environments.

  • Demonstrable expertise in designing and implementing large-scale IT systems, with a focus on security and compliance.

  • Strong knowledge of architectural frameworks such as TOGAF, Zachman, or similar.

  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and understanding of hybrid architectures.

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Eligibility for UK Government Security Clearance at SC level or higher.

Desirable Skills:

  • Certifications such as TOGAF, SABSA, or CISSP.

  • Experience in the public sector, defence, or other highly regulated industries.

  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.

  • Understanding of data governance and information security standards.
