IT OT Support Engineer
Overview
We are seeking a skilled IT/OT (Operational Technology) Engineer to join a new state-of-the -art global production facility. You'll join the business as they work towards commissioning stage and into production - you'll play a part in this amazing new facility coming to life. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in both corporate IT systems (e.g., networks, servers, cybersecurity) which must also be expended to industrial control systems (e.g. SCADA, PLC network management, OT device configuration, devices hardening etc).

Responsibilities
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and support production IT systems.
- Administer and secure industrial networks.
- Implement change control procedures and maintain documentation for assets.
- Perform general maintenance, security updates, upgrades, diagnostics, and data backups of workstations or server (in IT and OT domains).
- Responsible person for achieving and maintaining compliance with company cybersecurity policy.
- Support disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
- IT Support - ensure the smooth operation of hardware, software, networks, servers etc.
- Follow ITIL-based service management processes (incident, problem, and change management)
Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in computer/electrical engineering, Information Technology (desirable)
- Experience in application software, knowledge of hardware, networking, and computer support services.
- Strong understanding of infrastructure technologies.
- Understanding of OT and Industrial Control Systems
- Eager to expand knowledge on niche technology like OT devices or Industrial control system devices.
- Experience with cloud integration of industrial systems is an added value
- Ability to analyze complex problems and provide effective solutions.
- Good communication skills.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
- Professional Certifications ie Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, CompTIA Network+ would be beneficial but not essential.
