TM1 Lead Developer

Senior TM1 Developer

12 months FTC initially

Hybrid – London or Oxfordshire

The Talent Movement is partnering with a global organisation to find a Senior TM1 Developer who loves solving problems in data and finance systems.

It’s a hands-on role — owning and developing IBM Planning Analytics (TM1) , working closely with finance and commercial teams, and helping shape how the business plans, forecasts, and makes decisions. It's a role that requires both hands-on technical skills, commercial acumen and communication skills at all levels of business.

You’ll be the go-to for TM1: building and optimising cubes, improving automation with Alteryx , and making the numbers tell a story that matters.

You’ll also play a key role in helping the business tackle challenges such as FX and multi-currency reporting challenges across its global operations.

What’s on offer:

  • A basic salary of up to £95,000 plus up to 10% bonus.
  • Hybrid working (3 days on site, flex on which office and days)
  • Part of a FTSE 100 group, offering shared learnings and development/progression opportunities
  • A balanced, flexible culture. The people and culture in this business really make this opportunity stand out from the rest.
  • Private medical, 4 volunteering days, and strong pension benefits
  • 25 days leave, plus 3 additional discretionary days over end of year holiday season.
  • Share match scheme
  • Employee assistance programme – offering 24/7 well-being support
  • The chance to make real impact in a global business
  • Huge potential for post 12months, with exciting plans and opportunities in this team in particular.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • BS Degree or equivalent professional qualifications
  • Has a good knowledge of a wide area of information systems concepts and practice, both within and beyond own organization. Including all stages of systems development.
  • Ability to demonstrate Financial and Commercial knowledge
  • Can demonstrate a rational and organised approach to the tasks undertaken and an awareness of the need to achieve the desired quality.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office applications as the basis for application builds.
  • Familiarity with Alteryx and Power BI applications would be ideal, but full training will be provided.

If you’re someone who likes taking ownership, improving systems, and getting things done, you’ll fit right in and be in an environment to thrive.
