Project Manager = Smart Building Technology
We’re seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the delivery of smart building, IoT, and technology infrastructure projects from concept to completion.
This is a hands-on delivery role for a strong communicator and technical leader who thrives in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
You’ll take ownership of the full project lifecycle from design, procurement, and installation through to commissioning and handover, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
You’ll collaborate with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams, driving innovation while maintaining commercial and contractual control.
This role would suit a seasoned Senior Project Manager with over many years of experience of delivering large-scale smart building, IoT, and telecoms infrastructure projects.
You’ll bring:
- Extensive project leadership experience managing budgets exceeding £1m.
- Strong technical knowledge of IoT, networking, BMS (Niagara/N4), and smart building integration.
- Proven success managing multi-site deployments and complex stakeholder environments.
- Full lifecycle delivery skills from bid and pre-construction through to handover.
- Excellent communication and client-facing experience across Multiple sites.
- Certifications such as PMI (PMP), and ideally APM/PRINCE2, ECS, and SMSTS.
You’ll be comfortable leading diverse teams, balancing commercial priorities with quality and compliance, and representing LMG with professionalism and integrity.
What You’ll Do
- Manage end-to-end delivery of smart building and infrastructure projects, ensuring adherence to milestones, budgets, and safety standards.
- Oversee design, installation, testing, and commissioning of smart systems - Security, IoT, AV, and BMS.
- Produce and manage project documentation including RAMS, programmes, and financial reports.
- Lead on client engagement, acting as the main point of contact and building trusted relationships.
- Conduct site inspections, ensure quality assurance, and deliver high-quality handover documentation.
- Facilitate lessons learned sessions and promote continuous improvement across projects.
