️ Contract IT Deployment Engineer

Location: Glasgow city centre (onsite)

Contract Length: 6 months

Start Date: Immediate start

Rate: £30k pro rata

About the Role

We're seeking a skilled and proactive IT Deployment Engineer to join our team on a 6 month fixed term contract. You'll play a key role in deploying, configuring, and supporting IT infrastructure across multiple sites, ensuring smooth rollouts and minimal disruption to business operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Deploy and configure hardware (PCs, laptops, printers, mobile devices) and software across user environments
• Perform system upgrades, migrations, and installations
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during deployment
• Collaborate with project managers and technical teams to meet deployment timelines
• Maintain accurate documentation of deployment activities
• Provide end-user support and training where required

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience in IT deployment or desktop support roles
• Knowledge of Windows OS, Office 365, and common enterprise applications
• Familiarity with Intune for imaging and remote support platforms
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks

Desirable

• Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, and network troubleshooting
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft MCP)
