The Role: We're looking for an AI Agent Operator to join The Turmeric Co. at the forefront of our operational transformation.

This is a genuinely new kind of role – not an engineer, not a prompt tinkerer, but an orchestrator of intelligent systems that execute real work. You'll design, connect, and manage networks of AI agents across our business functions, translating commercial priorities into automated pipelines that multiply team output and help us move faster. Location is flexible; what matters most is that you bring hands-on experience building and running agent workflows in a professional setting.

The responsibilities

As AI Agent Operator, you will:

• Design and configure AI agent workflows that map directly to real business processes across marketing, operations, finance, and commercial functions
• Connect tools, data sources, and systems into coherent agent pipelines – including research, outreach, content, data, and reporting agents
• Translate business objectives into structured agent instructions, constraints, and persistent memory definitions
• Monitor agent performance continuously, identify failures or inefficiencies, and implement improvements iteratively
• Build and maintain agent playbooks: structured documentation that defines agent roles, tool usage, memory behaviour, and escalation paths
• Orchestrate multi-step, multi-agent workflows that operate autonomously with minimal human intervention
• Work with MCPs (Model Context Protocols) to ensure agents have appropriate access to tools, memory, and structured context
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities that create measurable business leverage
• Maintain clear documentation of all agent systems, configurations, and performance outcomes

The skillset

• Demonstrable, hands-on experience deploying and managing AI agents in a professional setting
• Working knowledge of MCPs (Model Context Protocols) – how agents access tools, memory, and structured context
• Proficiency with CLI environments for configuring and running agent workflows
• Strong written communication skills – ability to write clear, precise agent specifications and documentation
• Practical experience with agents.md or equivalent persistent agent definition formats
• Commercial awareness – ability to identify where automation creates genuine leverage vs. unnecessary complexity
• Self-managing and autonomous, with strong problem-solving ability across live operational systems
